At a practically sold-out show on Saturday, three comics took the stage to show Olean a good time in the third showcase for Mat Single T Comedy.

An hour before the show started, the Bartlett Country Club was already packed, but people continued to smush themselves in to hear if the comedians could give them a giggle … and let me tell you, they did more than that.

Santa Claus Is Coming to Town

Every year the song plays again and again on the radio and in your head, but on November 26th, Santa Clause really is coming to town.

Get ready, Olean! Santa Clause will be coming your way next Friday.

The 25th Annual Santa Clause Lane Parade will be hitting the streets at 7 p.m. on Nov. 26.

The parade actually has a longer history than you might think. It originally started back in 1939 and went annually until a big flood hit in 1972. Then it restarted again in 1986 and became the Santa Clause Lane Parade.

A Woman Finds a New Life She Never Knew Existed

Always wished your parents had a secret life you never knew about? Something cool and exciting? Well, Candy Kyler Brown's father did.

The day her father died was the day she started a journey two lifetimes in the making.

Six and a half years ago, John Kyler died of a stroke while at his granddaughter’s softball game. Later that same day as Candy Kyler Brown was searching through her father’s military memorabilia, she found two notebooks she had never seen before.

Almost immediately, Brown was captivated.

Angee’s Restaurant located at 475 North Union St., Olean, N.Y. opened in 1948 by Libratore Angelo Fratercangelo, an Italian immigrant, and his son, Nicholos. Over 60 years later, Angee’s remains in its original location and is owned and operated by Nicholos’ youngest son, Anthony Fratercangelo.
